FAQ

Midgard is a protocol that turns game scores into competitive markets. One player sets a score and backs it with a stake. Others pay to challenge it. If they beat the score, they win. If they don’t, the house keeps the entry.

Midgard runs in seasonal tournaments. You buy in at the start, compete throughout the season, and at the end all buy-ins form a prize pool that’s distributed based on performance.

  • Factory Owners — set a score and run the house. You earn while challengers try to beat you.
  • Challengers — pay a ticket to attempt a factory’s score. Simple, capped risk.
  • Vault Investors — deposit into the lending pool and earn from protocol activity without playing games directly.

A factory is a score-backed position. A player sets a score in a supported game, stakes value behind it, and opens it up for challenges. Think of it as becoming the house.

You pay a ticket and get a fresh game session. Beat the factory’s score and you get paid. Miss it and your ticket is gone.

No. You must score strictly higher than the factory to win.

Challenge sessions expire after 2 hours. You can also lock your score early if you want to settle sooner.

Yes. You can play multiple roles within the same season.

Midgard currently supports zKube and Loot Survivor, with more games being added through the game integration framework. See Game Integration for details.

You deposit into the vault and receive shares. The vault lends to leveraged factories and earns from loan interest. Your returns show up automatically in share price — no manual claiming needed.

No. Withdrawals go through a queue to ensure the vault doesn’t overcommit lent-out capital. Once liquidity is available, your withdrawal is processed.

I’m a game developer. Can I integrate my game?

Section titled “I’m a game developer. Can I integrate my game?”

Yes. Midgard supports any game that produces clear scores and short sessions. Start with Game Integration for Starknet-native games, or Oracle And Hybrid Games for off-chain or cross-chain games.
